Our Proposal.

How it happened:

Jairo proposed twice. The first time was on the beach in Puerto Rico. It was a beautiful, clear, starry night.  It was a night I will never forget. However, we were then chosen to be featured on MTV's documentary 16 and Pregnant. Because of this Jairo was asked to redo the proposal in front of the cameras. So the second time around Jairo proposed at La Caille restaurant here in Utah. It was also beautiful, we got an entire room all to ourselves that opened up onto their pristine grounds. They were both amazing experiences and I was lucky enough to be able to say "yes" to Jairo twice. <3

About us.

About Izabella:

I am 18 years old and graduating May 25! I have been a mommy for 2 1/2 years and am so lucky to have had Jairo by my side through it all. I'm so excited to marry Jairo. I will be starting college in the fall and beginning my path to medical school. I am blessed to know that Jairo will be by my side every step of the way. He has always put my own dreams before his own and it takes a special kind of man to be able to do that. <3

About Jairo:

I am 20 years old. I have known Izabella since I was 16 years old and that's when I fell in love with her. If anything the years and struggles we have endured together have only made my love for her stronger. I know she is my soulmate. She has such big aspirations in life and I don't doubt for a second that she can achieve them; Izabella is the most amazing human being I have ever come into contact with. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her. <3

How we met:

We are classic high school sweethearts. We met at Juan Diego's homecoming dance in September 2009 and began dating very soon after. We have been inseperable ever since. We welcomed our baby boy, Henry, into this world on September 17, 2010. We haven't had the most conventional relationship but together we make it work. We have grown up very quickly and that is why we know we are ready to get married despite our youth.
